Hi there! We are Australian Spatial Analytics, an award-winning non-profit social enterprise creating data solutions for an inclusive workforce. We exist to employ neurodiverse individuals previously locked out of employment to provide B2B professional data services to Federal and State Government Departments and Medium & Large enterprises.

Most of our team live with a disability, namely a. Our team is comprised of over 100 people across three offices; our headquarters in Brisbane, 2nd office in Melbourne and our recently opened 3rd in Cairns. This makes us one of Australia's largest work-integrated social enterprises (WISE), and we're only 2 years old!


 

About the Role

As our in-house marketing coordinator, you lead the charge and be responsible for the marketing and promotion of ASA. Supported by our incredible marketing and branding partner, you will work to develop, maintain and distribute marketing materials and communications promoting ASA’s brand and message to both clients and the general public. 

The role will involve a fair degree of autonomy and decision-making with regards to the deployment of marketing material – so creativity and a good understanding of social media trends and accounts, search engine optimisation will fuel your success.

ASA’s marketing department is currently growing, and the Marketing Coordinator will be on the front line of the expansion and new directions of our awareness and outreach efforts to our clients. Your efforts to promote our organisation and support the acquisition of new clients increases our impact and supports the employment of more young new neurodiverse adults.

This role will report to the Business Development Manager and will commence in February 2023.

Key Accountabilities

  • Build a marketing calendar and strategy guided by our contracted marketing and branding partner aligned with goals set by our leadership team
  • Design and maintain marketing collaterals and creative assets
  • Brief and coordinate digital communication activities including EDMs to support new promotions, latest news and content
  • Design and create imagery, engage and maintain social media platforms including Linkedin and Facebook 
  • Assist with the coordination and arranging of events
  • Accurate reporting and analysis of marketing and sales efforts to support success

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years' experience in Marketing preferred
  • Qualifications or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, journalism, media, public relations, fundraising, humanities, social policy or related fields
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and work independently, set and meet deadlines
  • Proficient at graphic design with InDesign or equivalent 
  • Experience in managing and driving engagement through social media accounts including Linkedin and Facebook
  • Experienced in design using Canva, Microsoft and WordPress
  • Understanding of the not-for-profit sector is desirable but not essential
